Equal opportunities

Following the “equal opportunities” principle, the selection committee will judge applicants based on merit and excellence without any discrimination for the race, gender, sexuality, age, disability.
The following specific actions will be implemented in order to guarantee equal opportunities under the MINDED project:
  • Recruitment of researchers: open and transparent selection procedures will be ensured by using a mixed selection committee trained on gender bias; encouraging the application by women implementing all maternity policies; by designing training patterns based on specific needs;
  • working conditions and culture: equal working conditions (pay, opportunities for training, access to grants and funding, flexi-time, home working, etc.) and private commitments or different career patterns will be fostered;
  • career development: this will be promoted for both male and female researchers but women will be specifically promoted for decision-making positions.
